  • Organize your coupons in the order that you shop the store for quicker savings trips. I organize the coupons by aisle placing the ones I plan to use on this visit at the front of each section. And keep your coupons book nearby – you may even end up using a motel coupon or a hotel discount coupon with a travel coupon.
  • Whether using a store coupon or a manufacturer coupon, get coupon savings back in cash, and put the cash away for something special. This process makes coupon savings seem more tangible.
  • Use coupons to help teach children the value of money: use coupon savings to pay allowances.
  • Use coupons with shorter expiration dates first to stock up on necessary items
  • Use double or triple coupons along with the manufacturers' rebates to realize additional savings.
  • Plan your families' menu using coupons.
